Continuous Improvement SpecialistFull-TimeColumbia, SCMeet your Talent Advisor Mary Jane EvansA leader in the manufacture of diesel engine related parts and components and they are looking to add an OPEX Director responsible for leading the implementation and advancement of the Production System at the site level. This role develops and executes a local lean roadmap to enhance operational efficiency, drive continuous improvement, and support broader strategic deployment objectivesContinuous Improvement Specialist Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and execute the site-specific lean roadmap aligned with the organization’s Production System.Partner with senior operational excellence leadership to implement continuous improvement tools and methodologies (Kaizen, Lean, Six Sigma, etc.).Promote and embed Production System principles across the site through training, coaching, and engagement.Lead weekly Kaizen reviews and oversee the planning and execution of lean initiatives.Ensure compliance and adoption of new lean practices; monitor process performance and define standards.Collaborate with Production, Quality, and Planning teams to drive joint improvement projects.Train and mentor Lean Facilitators; deliver training modules on Lean principles, 5S, and auditing practices.Verify data accuracy for standard work and cycle times in internal systems.Support corrective and preventive action activities as needed.Continuous Improvement Specialist Required QualificationsProven experience implementing Lean Manufacturing methodologies (6S, Kaizen, VSM, PDCA, Pull Systems, Visual Management).Lean Certification.Strong background in APQP and plant layout design (CAD proficiency required).Send resume to Mary Jane Evans mjevans@careertransllc.com Career Transitions: Find Your Dream Job or Hire the Best TalentCareer Transitions, a Morale Group Company, is a leading recruiting agency that specializes in helping employers find their next critical hire and job seekers find their dream job.
