What are the responsibilities and job description for the Accountant position at Career Strategy Consultants?
Career Strategy Consultants is seeking an Accountant for a client in the Monaca, PA area. This temporary-to-hire position will allow for 100% remote work following the first week of employment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform bank and general ledger account reconciliations to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Assist with the integration and management of a new fixed asset account from an external provider.
- Support accounts receivable functions and maintain accurate financial records.
- Utilize Excel and Pivot Tables to analyze financial data and generate reports.
- Ensure financial transactions are properly documented and recorded in accordance with accounting principles.
- Collaborate with internal teams to address discrepancies and maintain financial integrity.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (strongly preferred).
- 1-2 years of accounting experience with a focus on general ledger and accounts receivable.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including Pivot Tables (required).
- Strong attention to detail and ability to analyze financial data effectively.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
