Job Description Summary
Description: Qualified candidate will apply solid knowledge of general accounting principles, month-end closing and business analysis skills to record transactions and provide analysis for senior management. Works closely with President and CEO.
Major Responsibilities
- Assist with month-end closing: Balance sheet reconciliations and P&L analysis.
- Maintenance of fixed assets: set up, depreciation, disposals.
- Processing of equipment sales & rental transactions.
- Administration of sales & use tax, real and personal property taxes.
- Must have a 4 year degree in Accounting.
- 2-3 years of corporate or Accounting Graduate with Internship Experience.
- Proficiency with advanced accounting software, and Excel.
- ADP Payroll Experience and CPA and audit experience a plus.
- Must be a team player with effective written/verbal communication skills, ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment, work well with others and independently.
- Position requires travel for annual inventories to 3-5 branch locations.
- Salary depends on work experience and Accounting knowledge/certification: $60,000-80,000.
