Surgery Coordinator Needed for Busy Ophthalmology Surgery Center in Long Beach, CA
Overview:
The Surgery Coordinator plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of surgical services within our healthcare facility. This position is responsible for coordinating all aspects of the surgical process, from scheduling and patient communication to liaising with surgical teams and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. This role will be split between the Montebello and Long Beach offices.
Surgical Scheduling and Coordinator:
- Schedule surgeries in coordination with surgeons, patients, and hospital resources.
- Manage and update the surgical schedule to optimize operating room usage and minimize delays.
- Coordinate pre-operative and post-operative paperwork prior to surgery.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of surgical procedures, patient information, and consent forms.
Details:
Pay: $23.00-$24.00/hour
Location: Long Beach, CA
Bilingual Spanish REQUIRED
Job Type: Full-time
Expected hours: 40 per week
Schedule: 8:30am-5:00pm
