Responsibilities
- Assist the Administrator in managing daily nursing operations across multiple departments or units
- Supervise and mentor nursing staff, including managers and direct care providers
- Develop, review, and update individualized care plans
- Oversee documentation to ensure accuracy and compliance with HIPAA, Medicare, and state regulations
- Lead quality assurance initiatives related to MDS assessments and care planning
- Promote a culture of compliance, confidentiality, and high-quality care
Qualifications
- Proven experience in long-term care settings
- Supervisory or management experience in healthcare
- Strong knowledge of nursing practices, physiology, anatomy, medical terminology, and documentation
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Valid Ohio RN license in good standing
