What are the responsibilities and job description for the ABA Behavioral Health Technician position at Career Strategies?
We are in immediate meet of multiple Behavioral Health Techs (either ABA or RBT) for a local organization in Franklinton.
Key Responsibilities
- Direct Therapy: Works hands-on with clients to implement behavior-analytic interventions.
- Skill Development: Helps clients build communication, social, and daily living skills, often through play-based methods.
- Data Collection: Records client progress and behavior, providing data for the supervising BCBA to adjust treatment plans.
- Supervision: Receives ongoing supervision from a BCBA or BCaBA (Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analyst).
RBT - responsible for the day-to-day execution of a behavioral health plan. This can include things like interviewing patients, conducting follow-ups and collecting data. They must also interact directly with patients or clients, who may be experiencing things like a substance abuse disorder or psychiatric disorder, and for meeting with patients’ or clients’ family members.
ABA - Helping children with intellectual and developmental disabilities overcome behaviors that interfere with their daily lives. Some duties you may include in an Applied Behavior Analyst job description are assessing new clients to gain an understanding of their needs, administering therapy and maintaining accurate client records.
Pay scale depends on certifications.
