Apartment Leasing Consultant – Project Based Section 8
Location: Milwaukee, WI
Pay: Up to $20/hour DOE
Schedule: Monday–Friday | 9:00 AM – 4:30 PM
Career Strategies is hiring an experienced Apartment Leasing Consultant for an affordable housing community in Milwaukee, WI. We are seeking a candidate with strong Project Based Section 8 experience who can confidently assist residents, manage compliance-related tasks, and support daily office operations.
Job Responsibilities:
- Assist prospective and current residents
- Strong Office Skills
- Process applications, recertifications, and lease paperwork
- Handle Project Based Section 8 documentation and compliance tasks
- Answer phones, respond to resident inquiries, and provide excellent customer service
- Schedule tours and assist with leasing duties
- Maintain organized resident files and office records
- Coordinate with property management and maintenance teams as needed
Requirements:
- Previous apartment leasing experience required
- Must have Project Based Section 8 experience
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Organized and detail-oriented
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced office environment
- Professional and reliable
