What are the responsibilities and job description for the Assistant Property Manager - Tax Credit position at Career Strategies - Nashville?
We are currently seeking an experienced project-based section 8 tax-credit APM to join a tax credit apartment community. This position may require some weekend coverage.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Project-based tax credit experience
- Affordable Housing Experience
- LIHTC Experience
- Knowledge of Apartment Leasing/Fair Housing
- Reliable transportation—attendance and punctuality are imperative
- Working knowledge of the community and floor plans to successfully convert tours to leases
- Ability to process applications and prepare leases for qualified potential residents
- In-depth understanding of the real estate industry, including laws, policies, and best practices
QUALIFICATIONS:
- 1 year of experience as an APM in a tax credit community
- Previous Tax Credit/LIHTC experience
- Bilingual in Spanish is a major plus
- Strong work ethic with reliability and dependability
- Friendly, energetic, and great people skills
- Ability to work weekends is a MUST
