Affordable Housing Assistant Property Manager

In this role, you will assist with the daily operations of the property while helping ensure compliance with affordable housing programs and delivering exceptional resident service.
Responsibilities:
- Assist the Property Manager with day-to-day community operations
- Support leasing activities including tours, applications, and move-ins
- Maintain resident files and ensure compliance with affordable housing regulations including Section 8, LIHTC, and other housing programs
- Process recertifications and renewals accurately and on time
- Handle resident communications and provide excellent customer service
- Assist with rent collections, notices, and delinquency follow-up
- Coordinate maintenance requests and follow through on resident concerns
- Maintain accurate records using property management software
- Help ensure the property remains in compliance with company and regulatory standards
Qualifications:
- Previous Assistant Property Manager experience preferred
- Affordable housing experience strongly preferred
- Knowledge of Section 8, LIHTC, HUD, or other affordable housing programs
- Strong organizational and administrative skills
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities
- Experience with property management software such as RealPage, Yardi, or OneSite is a plus
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
