Job Title: Fire Alarm Technician

Job Summary:
We are looking for a Fire Alarm Technician to help design, install, test, and maintain fire alarm systems that keep people and buildings safe. This job is perfect for someone who enjoys hands-on technical work, solving problems, and paying close attention to detail.

What You’ll Do:

  • Install, test, and repair fire alarm systems in homes, offices, and other buildings.
  • Make sure all systems meet safety codes and standards (like NFPA 72).
  • Troubleshoot and fix problems when fire alarms don’t work properly.
  • Keep records of the work done and make sure everything is working safely and correctly.
  • Talk with customers to explain work and answer questions clearly.
  • Work carefully and neatly to provide high-quality service.

What You Should Have:

  • Basic knowledge or experience with electrical systems or fire alarms.
  • Ability to read and follow safety codes and installation instructions.
  • Good problem-solving skills to find and fix technical issues.
  • Good communication and customer service skills.
  • A careful and organized way of working.
  • Willingness to learn and grow in the field.

Career Growth:

You may start as a Fire Alarm Technician Assistant or Entry-Level Technician, helping with installations and testing.
With experience, you can become a Fire Alarm Technician or Senior Technician, taking on more complex work and helping to train others.
Later, you can move into roles such as Fire Alarm System Designer, Fire Protection Engineer, or even into management, sales, or inspection positions.
