Compensation: $26.00/hour
Location: Nicollet Towers - 1350 Nicollet Mall, Minneapolis, MN 55403
About the job:
The Recertification Specialist is responsible for processing initial, annual, and interim recertifications to ensure compliance with Section 8 and Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC) programs. In addition, this position assists with front desk operations and supports the Assistant Community Manager with questions and issues relating to tenant compliance.

Essentials:
- Review and maintain resident files, including weekly filing, to ensure compliance with applicable government regulations
- Ensure all certifications are processed within the required timelines
- Collect, review and verify income, assets, and household information for annual and interim recertifications in accordance with HUD regulations and program requirements
- Assist with marketing of vacant units and managing the waitlist as needed
- Provide front desk support, including answering phones, greeting residents, responding to general inquiries, and entering resident work orders
Required Qualifications:
- High School Diploma
- 1 years of experience in customer service or working in an office required
- Demonstrated ability to deal with stressful and demanding situations
- Excellent communication skills
