We are seeking a skilled Bandsaw Operator to join our production team in Hardeeville, SC. The Bandsaw Operator is responsible for safely and efficiently operating bandsaw equipment to cut materials to specified dimensions, while maintaining high standards of quality, safety, and productivity.
Key Responsibilities:

Operate a bandsaw to cut materials (metal, plastic, or wood) to required specifications.

Review work orders, blueprints, and production schedules to determine cutting requirements.

Set up and adjust bandsaw equipment, including blade changes, guides, and tension settings.

Inspect materials before and after cutting to ensure accuracy and quality.

Perform daily inspections and routine maintenance of bandsaw equipment.

Report equipment malfunctions or safety concerns promptly.

Keep accurate production and material usage records.

Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.

Assist with moving materials to production or storage areas.

Support other areas of the plant as needed.
Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent.

Previous experience operating a bandsaw or similar cutting machinery preferred.

Manufacturing experience strongly preferred.

Ability to read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and measurement tools.

Knowledge of machine operation procedures and safety protocols.
