We are currently seeking a Full-Time Occupational Therapist (OT) to join a hospital-based inpatient rehabilitation team in Washington. This position offers the opportunity to work with a diverse patient population, including individuals recovering from orthopedic injuries, neurological conditions, surgeries, trauma, and other medically complex diagnoses. Position Overview

As an Occupational Therapist, you will play a vital role in helping patients regain independence and improve their ability to perform activities of daily living. You will collaborate with physicians, nurses, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive, patient-centered care.

Responsibilities include:

• Conducting comprehensive occupational therapy evaluations and assessments.
• Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and goals.
• Providing therapeutic interventions focused on activities of daily living (ADLs), functional mobility, cognitive skills, upper extremity function, and adaptive strategies.
• Evaluating and recommending adaptive equipment and environmental modifications.
• Educating patients and caregivers regarding treatment plans, safety strategies, and discharge recommendations.
• Maintaining accurate and timely clinical documentation.
• Collaborating with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to optimize patient outcomes.
• Participating in care conferences, discharge planning, and quality improvement initiatives.
• Contributing to a positive, patient-centered care environment.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program with a Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral degree in Occupational Therapy.
• Current Washington Occupational Therapist License issued by the Washington State Department of Health, or eligibility to obtain licensure prior to start date.
• Successful completion of the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT) examination.
• Current CPR/BLS certification or ability to obtain upon hire.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and clinical reasoning skills.
• Previous hospital, acute care, inpatient rehabilitation, or skilled nursing experience preferred but not required.
• New graduates are encouraged to apply.
