Position Overview

Key Responsibilities
- Provide overall leadership and direction for emergency services operations
- Lead multidisciplinary teams in delivering high-quality, patient-centered care
- Monitor departmental performance and implement strategies to improve outcomes and efficiency
- Analyze operational and clinical data to identify trends and improvement opportunities
- Develop and support performance improvement initiatives focused on quality, safety, and patient experience
- Ensure compliance with regulatory, accreditation, and organizational standards

Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required
- Current Alabama RN license or eligibility for Alabama licensure required
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive leadership experience in Emergency Services required
- Strong experience leading multidisciplinary healthcare teams required
- Demonstrated ability to build effective relationships across departments and leadership levels
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with experience using data to drive performance improvement
- BLS and ACLS certifications required or must be obtained within the required timeframe
- Emergency department clinical or leadership experience preferred
- No adverse actions on nursing license
