Temporary Retail Crew Member

Our client, a leading entertainment company, is looking for Seasonal Retail Crew Members to join its opening operational team and support an immersive guest experience. The ideal candidate will have previous retail, hospitality, food & beverage, attractions, or customer service experience and be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. This role will primarily support back-of-house retail operations and inventory, while also assisting on the sales floor and with the guest experience as needed.

This is a temporary seasonal position running approximately October through December, with potential for the role to extend or convert based on business needs and performance.

Location: Philadelphia, PA (King of Prussia)

Hours: Part-time, approximately 20–30 hours/week; flexible schedule including weekends and holidays

Pay: $16–$18/hour

Responsibilities:

• Receive, unpack, organize, and process incoming merchandise and inventory
• Maintain an organized stockroom and ensure merchandise, beverages, and retail supplies are fully stocked
• Monitor inventory levels and communicate replenishment needs to Retail Leadership
• Support opening and closing procedures, including restocking, recovery, cleaning, and securing merchandise
• Assist on the sales floor and provide friendly, professional customer service
• Operate a cashless POS system and assist with customer transactions as needed
• Engage with guests and create a positive, welcoming experience
• Follow all standard operating procedures, safety, and emergency protocols
• Lift and transport inventory weighing up to 50 lbs.
• Assist with additional operational needs and coverage as assigned

Qualifications:

• Must be at least 18 years old
• Previous experience in retail, hospitality, food & beverage, attractions, or customer service
• Strong communication, teamwork, and customer service skills
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and adapting to changing priorities
• Proactive, reliable, and willing to jump in wherever support is needed
• Comfortable working independently in a back-of-house environment and assisting on the sales floor
• Ability to follow environmental, health, and safety protocols
• Additional language skills are a plus
• Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays
• Ability to lift and transport inventory weighing up to 50 lbs.

Additional Details:

• Approximately 20–30 hours per week, with schedules varying based on business needs
• Weekend availability is required; holiday availability may be required
• Schedules will be provided in advance; this is not an on-call position
• Paid training will be provided
• Interviews will be conducted on-site with the Retail Manager and Shift Lead
• Background check required for all hires
• Training/onboarding is expected to take place on-site in mid-October
• Approximately 4–7 seasonal hires per location are anticipated
• Potential for the role to extend or convert may exist based on business needs and performance
• Primary seasonal need is October–December
• Overnight shift details are still TBD
