Our client, a leading venture capital firm focused on supporting later-stage, fast-scaling technology companies, is looking for a dynamic and highly organized Front Office Coordinator to help drive the smooth day-to-day functioning of their Burlingame office. In this role, you’ll be the face of the firm for employees, investors, and guests, ensuring a polished, welcoming experience while keeping operations running seamlessly behind the scenes. **Please note: This is a part-time, onsite, 4-month contract role based in Burlingame, CA. Pay is $30-35/hr.**
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain an organized, efficient, and well-stocked office environment, including managing supplies, vendor relationships, and office equipment.
- Greet visitors, manage incoming calls, and provide hospitality support for meetings and events.
- Assist with scheduling, expense reports, document preparation, and other operational tasks.
- Help plan and execute internal and external meetings, team events, and investor gatherings.
- Coordinate with building management and IT support to ensure smooth office operations.
- Support executives with travel arrangements, accommodations, and itineraries as needed.
- Contribute to a positive workplace culture by organizing team activities and fostering collaboration.
- Part-time schedule: Monday–Thursday, 8:00 AM–3:00 PM.
Qualifications & Experience
- 2 years of experience in office administration, operations, or a similar role, preferably in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong organizational skills with a keen eye for detail and a proactive approach.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact professionally at all levels.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and familiarity with scheduling tools or expense management software.
- Ability to prioritize tasks, manage time effectively, and adapt to shifting priorities.
- A team player with a can-do attitude who enjoys problem-solving and working collaboratively.
