Our client is seeking a skilled and motivated Senior Accountant to manage core financial operations. This is a high-impact role ideal for someone who thrives in a dynamic, multi-entity environment and enjoys a broad range of accounting responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee day-to-day accounting functions for multiple business units, including cash management, accounts payable/receivable, month-end close, and financial reporting
- Support financial close and reporting for additional entities within the portfolio
- Prepare and file regulatory tax reports (excise, sales & use, property, franchise, 1099s, etc.)
- Manage monthly reporting requirements with federal agencies for regulated product imports
- Collaborate with external auditors and respond to audit requests as needed
- Identify process improvements and support evolving business needs
- Take on additional projects and responsibilities as assigned
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting or Finance
- CPA preferred or in process
- Strong working knowledge of US GAAP
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Office Suite; NetSuite experience preferred
- Ability to manage competing priorities in a deadline-driven environment
- Effective communicator who works well across teams and at all levels of the organization
