Court Security Officer

We’re hiring Court Security Officers to support the U.S. Marshals Service in securing federal courthouses across the United States. Your Responsibilities Will Include:

• Enforcing security protocols at federal courthouses

• Screening visitors and monitoring entry/exit points

• Escorting detainees, judges, and protected individuals as needed

• Maintaining order and responding to emergencies or disruptions

• Collaborating with U.S. Marshals and other law enforcement agencies

• Upholding the safety, professionalism, and security of the court environment

Minimum Requirements:

• U.S. Citizenship (required)

• Age 20–36 (up to 40 for eligible military veterans)

• Valid U.S. driver’s license

• Prior experience in law enforcement, military, or security strongly preferred

• Must meet federal standards for physical fitness, vision, and hearing

• Ability to pass firearms qualification and readiness assessments

• Must complete intensive federal training for court security operations
