Role: Quality Engineer

The company manufactures high-end, innovative interior polymer-based components, modules, and systems with integrated electronics, including ventilation systems, smart surfaces, and lighting modules. As a supplier and development partner, it supports renowned automotive manufacturers such as Audi, BMW, Mercedes-Benz, Volkswagen, Subaru, and Volvo.
What You'll Do
- Service customer web portals by updating contact information, responding to part quality complaints, monitoring customer scorecards, determining recourse actions for negative ratings, and updating requalification sections per customer requirementsProvide monthly customer scorecards to the Head of Quality Engineering for inclusion in plant KPIs
- Review internal (Q-wall) and external sorting data and lead cross-functional teams from production to reduce or eliminate sorting activities
- Track and review monthly sales deductions for assigned projects and link them to corresponding customer complaints
- Maintain test plans and control plans for assigned products
- Apply quality methods, practices, and procedures in accordance with customer requirements, internal QMS, IATF 16949, EN/ISO 14001, VDA 6.3, and related standards

What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or Industrial Engineering preferred
- 3 years of experience in automotive manufacturing, preferably in injection molding, paint, and assembly
- Familiarity with IATF 16949, VDA 6.3, and customer-specific requirements (CSRs)
- Demonstrated knowledge of Core Tools (SPC, MSA, Control Plans, FMEA, PFMEA, 8D, etc.)
- Experience supporting OEMs such as Audi, MBUSI, Volkswagen, and BMW
- Proficiency with relevant software (MS Office, Minitab, QMS systems, customer portals, and related tools)
