Position Overview:
The Large Loss Project Coordinator plays a key role in supporting the successful execution of commercial large-loss mitigation and reconstruction projects. This position ensures accuracy, compliance, timely documentation, and smooth coordination between Project Managers, subcontractors, internal teams, and insurance carriers. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, a solid understanding of industry regulations, and the ability to maintain high-quality standards across all project stages.
The Large Loss Project Coordinator plays a key role in supporting the successful execution of commercial large-loss mitigation and reconstruction projects. This position ensures accuracy, compliance, timely documentation, and smooth coordination between Project Managers, subcontractors, internal teams, and insurance carriers. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, a solid understanding of industry regulations, and the ability to maintain high-quality standards across all project stages.
Key Responsibilities:
- Utilize advanced knowledge of mitigation and reconstruction regulations to ensure all large-loss projects are performed accurately, safely, and in full compliance.
- Ensure proper documentation is completed, maintained, and organized for all commercial projects.
- Monitor and ensure Project Managers comply with all Large Loss guidelines.
- Verify that Project Managers complete daily Time & Material (T&M) entries.
- Enter T&M data into the designated software system as needed.
- Collaborate with the Project Manager to evaluate ongoing projects and ensure overall quality and adherence to standards.
- Assist in scheduling subcontractors, crews, resources, and additional vendors in coordination with the Project Manager and Large Loss Manager.
- Review project budgets to ensure Project Managers and Technicians are operating within approved percentages.
- Prepare and submit estimates and required documentation to insurance carriers and/or adjusters.
- Provide detailed project information to the billing department to ensure accurate and timely invoicing.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications:
- Experience in restoration, construction, mitigation, or related industries preferred.
- Strong understanding of T&M processes and project documentation standards.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and multitasking abilities.
- Ability to work collaboratively with internal teams, vendors, and insurance professionals.
- Proficiency with project management or restoration software is a plus.
