- Temporary to hire openings paying $17/hr. with a $3/hr. increase once training is complete and hired on;
- Must be able to train on 1st shift: 7:00am
- 3:30pm then move to 2nd or 3rd shift once training is complete; 2nd shift: 3:00pm
- 11:30pm, 3rd shift: 11:00pm
- 7:30am;
- Must be able to work overtime when needed to complete tasks that are time sensitive and schedule drive. Job Description: After the printing of labels is completed, the finishing department is responsible for inspecting, slitting, rewinding, and finishing all converted products.Responsibilities:
- Remove waste and convert all press rolls into finished end user product according to customer specifications;
- Inspection for quality and conformance of all converted products;
- Follow all customer requirements and quality notes;
- Basic care and maintenance of slitter/label rewinder equipment;
- Proper core labeling of all finished goods;
- Transport finished goods to shipping department;
- Maintain and record proper sign-offs;
- Perform other related duties as assigned.Requirements and Skills to be Successful in this Role: Experience
- No experience necessary; internal training is available for this position;
- High school diploma or equivalent education or experience.Physical
- Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs. unassisted;
- Must be able to stand / walk throughout an eight-hour period
