Our client is seeking a skilled Machinist who can handle all aspects of operations of their CNC Mill and Lathe in their Jamestown area facility. This is a temporary to possible hire opportunity that pays an hourly rate of $20 - $23/hr. (depending on experience) with a 1st or 2nd shift schedule.Responsibilities:
Our client is seeking a skilled Machinist who can handle all aspects of operations of their CNC Mill and Lathe in their Jamestown area facility. This is a temporary to possible hire opportunity that pays an hourly rate of $20 - $23/hr. (depending on experience) with a 1st or 2nd shift schedule.Responsibilities:
- This individual will need to be capable of setup and operation of CNC mills, and also be capable of programming basic work at the machine when necessary.
- Must be able to understand all feeds and speeds required to cut various materials.
- Must be able to work in close tolerances /-.0002
- Identifies opportunities to improve products or reduce costs.Job Qualifications:
- High School Math and English equivalent
- 1 or more years of experience in a Machining or similar environment
- Mechanical Aptitude
- Use of measuring devises: Micrometers, Verniers
- Dedicated and attention to detail
