Apply today for this great opportunity!Job Overview: The Accounting Manager will oversee all aspects of the daily accounting operations ensuring that all financial transactions are accurately tracked and reported.Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee all daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly accounting activities, including accounts payable/receivable, fixed assets/prepaids, payroll, Asset Liability Management Reports, CECL Calculation Reports, and investments.
- Prepare timely monthly financial statements, Call Reports (Form 5300), and other regulatory reports.
- Reconcile general ledger accounts and bank statements, ensuring accuracy and proper documentation.
- Analyze income/expense variances.
- Ensure compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), NCUA regulations.
- Prepare documentation and serve as a liaison for internal supervisory committee and regulatory agencies (NCUA.)
- Monitor and manage daily cash flow and investments under direction of management and Board of Directors.Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in accounting, or equivalent credit union/banking experience;
- Strong knowledge of GAAP,
- Proficiency in accounting software, and Microsoft Office in a windows environment,
- Excellent analytical, communication, and organizational skills.
