Part Time Office Assistant

A local company in Chardon, OH is seeking a professional and customer-focused Office Assistant to support office operations and the Appointment Center. This role serves as the first point of contact for customers and plays a key role in delivering a polished, organized, and welcoming experience while supporting scheduling, communication, and general administrative needs. The ideal candidate for this role would be an individual that is self-driven, confident, friendly, and detail oriented.

Responsibilities
  • Answer and route incoming phone calls, texts, emails, and web inquiries professionally

  • Schedule and coordinate pre-construction, annual service, and service appointments

  • Serve as backup support for the Appointment Center Manager

  • Accurately document customer interactions in CRM systems and internal platforms

  • Greet customers, guests, and team members in a professional and welcoming manner

  • Maintain a clean, organized, and guest-ready reception and lobby area

  • Assist customers in the in-house showroom as needed

  • Monitor, reorder, and organize office supplies

  • Sort and distribute mail and packages

  • Assist with filing, scanning, data entry, and general administrative tasks

  • Support office meetings, small projects, events, and home shows as needed

Qualifications and Skills
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in reception, customer service, appointment scheduling, or office support

  • Experience with CRM software and Microsoft Office

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

  • Ability to multitask and stay organized in a busy environment

  • Professional appearance and reliable attendance

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

  • Willingness to participate in ongoing training and skill development

Benefits/Compensation
  • Part Time - Role transitions into a full time position

  • First shift (10pm – 5pm)  

  • $17 /hr based on experience

  • Temp to hire position  

  • Weekly pay while employed through Career Concepts

  • Benefits available while employed through Career Concepts
