A local company in Chardon, OH is seeking a professional and customer-focused Office Assistant to support office operations and the Appointment Center. This role serves as the first point of contact for customers and plays a key role in delivering a polished, organized, and welcoming experience while supporting scheduling, communication, and general administrative needs. The ideal candidate for this role would be an individual that is self-driven, confident, friendly, and detail oriented.
ResponsibilitiesAnswer and route incoming phone calls, texts, emails, and web inquiries professionally
Schedule and coordinate pre-construction, annual service, and service appointments
Serve as backup support for the Appointment Center Manager
Accurately document customer interactions in CRM systems and internal platforms
Greet customers, guests, and team members in a professional and welcoming manner
Maintain a clean, organized, and guest-ready reception and lobby area
Assist customers in the in-house showroom as needed
Monitor, reorder, and organize office supplies
Sort and distribute mail and packages
Assist with filing, scanning, data entry, and general administrative tasks
Support office meetings, small projects, events, and home shows as needed
Minimum of 2 years of experience in reception, customer service, appointment scheduling, or office support
Experience with CRM software and Microsoft Office
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Ability to multitask and stay organized in a busy environment
Professional appearance and reliable attendance
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Willingness to participate in ongoing training and skill development
Part Time - Role transitions into a full time position
First shift (10pm – 5pm)
$17 /hr based on experience
Temp to hire position
