- Greet and assist visitors and callers in a courteous, professional, and helpful manner.
- Maintain a professional appearance and promote a positive environment for residents, staff, families, and guests.
- Ensure compliance with resident rights, privacy regulations, and HIPAA standards.
- Safeguard all confidential information, including resident medical, financial, and personal data.
- Exercise sound judgment; when in doubt about a task or policy, seek guidance from a supervisor, the Director of Nursing, or the Administrator.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and possess strong general computer skills.
- Ability to read, write, and follow oral and written instructions.
- Excellent verbal communication skills with a positive, professional demeanor.
- Ability to relate positively and respectfully to residents, families, and coworkers.
- Must meet all local health regulations, including passing a post-employment physical exam (if required), drug screening, criminal background check, and reference verification.
