- Oversee daily operations of the dietary department, ensuring compliance with all state and federal regulations
- Develop and maintain menus that meet the nutritional needs and preferences of residents
- Supervise, schedule, and train dietary staff
- Monitor food preparation and service to ensure quality, safety, and sanitation standards are met
- Coordinate with nursing and clinical teams regarding residents’ dietary restrictions and preferences
- Manage inventory, order supplies, and maintain budget controls
- Participate in care planning meetings and quality assurance programs
- Prior experience in a dietary management role in a long-term care or healthcare setting
- Knowledge of dietary regulations for skilled nursing facilities
- ServSafe certification preferred
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
