- Perform general building maintenance, repairs, and preventative maintenance.
- Complete basic plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, and drywall repairs.
- Maintain the grounds, including mowing, trimming, and seasonal upkeep.
- Assist with heating, cooling, and other facility equipment maintenance.
- Conduct routine safety inspections and help ensure compliance with Life Safety standards.
- Respond to maintenance requests in a timely and professional manner.
- Assist with waste removal, deliveries, and inventory of maintenance supplies.
- Help maintain emergency systems, including generators, fire alarms, smoke detectors, and other safety equipment.
- Participate in on-call or emergency maintenance needs as required.
- Work closely with other departments to maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for our residents and staff.
- Previous maintenance experience preferred, ideally in a healthcare, long-term care, or commercial setting.
- Working knowledge of basic plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, and general building maintenance.
- Ability to troubleshoot problems and complete repairs independently.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to lift, carry, bend, climb ladders, and perform physical work throughout the day.
- Reliable, dependable, and committed to providing excellent service.
- Experience with Life Safety Codes is a plus.
