What You'll Do:
Perform general building maintenance, repairs, and preventative maintenance.
Complete basic plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, and drywall repairs.
Maintain the grounds, including mowing, trimming, and seasonal upkeep.
Assist with heating, cooling, and other facility equipment maintenance.
Conduct routine safety inspections and help ensure compliance with Life Safety standards.
Respond to maintenance requests in a timely and professional manner.
Assist with waste removal, deliveries, and inventory of maintenance supplies.
Help maintain emergency systems, including generators, fire alarms, smoke detectors, and other safety equipment.
Participate in on-call or emergency maintenance needs as required.
Work closely with other departments to maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for our residents and staff.
What We're Looking For:
Previous maintenance experience preferred, ideally in a healthcare, long-term care, or commercial setting.
Working knowledge of basic plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, and general building maintenance.
Ability to troubleshoot problems and complete repairs independently.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to lift, carry, bend, climb ladders, and perform physical work throughout the day.
Reliable, dependable, and committed to providing excellent service.
Experience with Life Safety Codes is a plus.
