Responsibilities:
- Clean and maintain all floor surfaces, including sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, and buffing.
- Strip, wax, and polish floors according to facility schedules and procedures.
- Operate floor care equipment such as buffers, burnishers, and carpet extractors.
- Promptly clean up spills and stains to prevent safety hazards.
- Follow all safety, infection control, and sanitation protocols.
- Perform routine inspections of equipment and report any repair or maintenance needs.
- Assist with general housekeeping duties when needed.
- Previous floor tech or environmental services experience preferred, but willing to train the right candidate.
- Ability to safely operate floor care machinery.
- Strong work ethic with excellent attention to detail.
- Physical ability to lift, bend, and stand for long periods.
- Dependable, self-motivated, and able to work independently or with a team.
