- Positive attitude and a passion for working with seniors
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Assist with planning and implementing activity programs that meet the interests, abilities, and needs of residents
- Escort residents to and from activities, events, and outings
- Encourage participation and foster a welcoming, inclusive environment
- Build positive relationships with residents and their families
- Accurately document attendance and participation in activities
- Support residents in maintaining their individual preferences, routines, and choices
