Responsibilities:
- Assist clients with personal care tasks, such as bathing, grooming, and toileting
- Help clients with mobility and transfer activities
- Provide assistance with meal preparation and feeding, as needed
- Perform light housekeeping tasks, such as tidying up living spaces and doing laundry
- Monitor clients' health and report any changes or concerns to healthcare professionals
- Provide emotional support and companionship to clients
- Help clients with medication reminders and appointments
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of client care activities
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Home Health Aide (HHA) certification preferred
- Previous experience working as a caregiver or healthcare provider
- CPR and First Aid certification
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to provide physical assistance to clients, including lifting and transferring
- Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
Working Conditions:
- Flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Travel within a designated geographic area to provide in-home care services
