We are currently searching for a RN Educator to assist with home health staff development and training in our Woodbury office!

The RN Educator will be responsible for leading CareAparent’s training, competency, and professional development initiatives. This role will lead and support all training functions, including presenting and conducting CareAparent sponsored training and competency programs, training content and materials, progress reporting, and professional development tracks. Reporting to CareAparent’s Director of Compliance and Administrator, this role will be a cultural ambassador representing CareAparent’s mission, vision, and values to new and current employees. This position will ensure training and competency programs meet all state, federal and regulatory requirements for employees and foster an environment of empowerment, accountability, and support.

Salary Range: $90,000 - $108,000
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00am to 4:30pm (some flexibility)

Position Duties:
- Embody CareAparent’s mission, vision, and values in conducting new employee training, onboarding, and competency programs.
- Work with Clinical Leadership to develop a plan for combining in-office/field training and nursing visits.
- Partner with department leaders to enhance CareAparent’s training content and curriculums.
- Collaborate with department leaders to develop, implement, and deliver annual and ongoing training requirements for all employees.
- Train new hires in company policies and procedures, evaluating engagement, participation, and competency assignments.
- Complete necessary competency programs for care teams as required by state and CMS statues and conditions.
- Understand all documentation requirements for home health care with regards to regulatory compliance to deliver and develop training programs for new employees on documentation requirements respective to their roles. This may include OASIS assessments, payer documentation, and authorization information.
- Develop innovative training content and programs utilizing technology to deliver scalable training across the organization.
- Be a designated super-user of CareAparent’s EMR, HR, and training platforms.
- Collaborate with manager to ensure effective performance, development, and retention programs.
- Organize and manage annual training sessions for all care team members as required by state and federal regulations and comply with our accreditation with The Joint Commission.
- Develop and design PowerPoint presentations and educational materials for company-sponsored training sessions, ensuring content aligns with community needs and organizational standards.
- Assist in obtaining Continuing Education Unit (CEU) credits for relevant training sessions (e.g., RN, LPN, PT, OT), coordinating with accrediting bodies to meet certification requirements.
- Provide field training, shadowing and other nursing visits, as needed
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Graduate from an accredited and approved nursing program
- Valid Minnesota RN License, maintained annually
- Minimum of two (2) years of relevant senior care experience – home care experience is a PLUS
- Supervisory/management and training experience preferred
- Must possess positive, enthusiastic attitude, good people skills, and professional appearance.
- Ability to work independently without constant supervision.
- Strong presentation skills.
- Experience using a variety of multimedia training platforms and methods.
- Ability to evaluate and research and implement training options and alternatives.
- Proficient knowledge and use of Microsoft Office Suite and related program software, most importantly Microsoft PowerPoint.
- Basic technology and computer skills
- Able to pass background checks.
- Proficient and Fluent in English.
- Desire to serve others with compassion, excellence, safety, collaboration, trust, and integrity.
