Duties
- Deliver personalized companionship and emotional support to clients, encouraging social interaction and mental stimulation
- Assist with daily living activities such as grooming, mobility, medication reminders, and light housekeeping to promote independence
- Monitor clients’ health status, report changes or concerns promptly to healthcare professionals or family members
- Plan and facilitate engaging activities tailored to individual interests and abilities to promote mental and physical wellness
- Maintain accurate documentation of care provided, client progress, and any incidents or observations
- Follow all safety protocols and care plans diligently to ensure a secure environment for clients
- Collaborate with team members to develop and update personalized care strategies that meet each client’s unique needs
Qualifications
- Proven experience in caregiving, senior support, or related health services preferred
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to connect warmly and effectively with clients from diverse backgrounds
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in documentation and care planning
- Ability to handle sensitive situations with compassion, patience, and professionalism
- Valid certification in CPR/First Aid is a plus; willingness to obtain relevant training if not already certified
- Reliable transportation and flexibility to work various shifts as needed
