What are the responsibilities and job description for the RNs ONLY! - VENT/TRACH - PEDIATRIC HOME HEALTH position at Care Star Healthcare?
Looking for an RN for a school case.
Hours: 8am to 4pm, MONDAYS TO FRIDAYS, MUST BE WILLING TO RIDE THE BUS WITH THE CHILD.
Child's diagnosis: Tracheostomy dependence with acute respiratory failure and hypoxia. Child is 4 years old.
Pay $50- $55 per Hour
Responsibilities:
- Administer medication, monitor vital signs, and assess patient responses to treatments and interventions.
- Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records and documentation.
Requirements:
- Valid RN license in GA.
- Familiarity with caring for children and young adults with special needs, including developmental disabilities and complex medical conditions.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
- Ability to remain calm and composed in high-stress situations and handle emergency situations with confidence.
- Dedication to providing quality care and improving the lives of pediatric patients with special needs.
