What are the responsibilities and job description for the OVERNIGHT NURSE - VENT/TRACH - PEDIATRIC CARE position at Care Star Healthcare?
Looking for a nurse overnight - Tuesday 7pm - 6:30am - RN/LPN for a vent and trach case with other days available.
We currently have nurses for this case, however, should a nurse call out, because of the high acuity of this case, we want someone who can fill quickly and on short notice.
Child's diagnosis: Ventilator/Tracheotomy dependency, chronic respiratory failure, g tube, seizures, blind, and development delays. Child is 3 years old.
Pay $40-$60 per Hour
Responsibilities:
- Administer medication, monitor vital signs, and assess patient responses to treatments and interventions.
- Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records and documentation.
Requirements:
- Valid RN/LPN license in GA.
- Familiarity with caring for children and young adults with special needs, including developmental disabilities and complex medical conditions.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
- Ability to remain calm and composed in high-stress situations and handle emergency situations with confidence.
- Dedication to providing quality care and improving the lives of pediatric patients with special needs.
