What are the responsibilities and job description for the Mobility Technician position at Care Solutions?
Mobility Technician needed. The Position includes computer work for quotes, parts diagrams, and training. In addition the position is hands on with installations of wheelchair carriers on vehicles, hitches, stairlifts and outdoor lifts at homes, and wheelchair ramps. All of these require a basic knowledge of tools, sense of mechanical ability, and ability to problem solve and come up with a course of action. We also repair all the items we provide as well as powerchairs and scooters. This position does require some heavy lifting. Any previous experience could be helpful but is not required. We provide manufacturer, on line and on the job training. This is a job for a self starter so once the skill set is in place we appreciate someone that does not need micro managing. Since we serve the elderly and disabled population we require a drug test, background check , and driving record check. The job is performed in our office and also within a 3 hour radius of our office where we go for service calls ( company van provided).
