Registered Nurse (RN) / Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) - Part Time

Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our healthcare team on a part-time basis at Care and Rehab, a skilled nursing facility in Barron, WI. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality nursing care to patients, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being while adhering to established protocols and standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in accordance with nursing standards and facility policies.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
• Monitor patient health status and document observations accurately.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Educate patients and their families on health conditions, treatments, and post-care instructions.
• Maintain a safe and clean environment for patients and staff.
• Respond promptly to patient needs and emergencies.
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory and licensing requirements.

Qualifications

• Current and valid RN or LPN license in the state of Wisconsin.
• Previous nursing experience preferred but not required.
• Strong clinical and assessment skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• Compassionate and patient-focused approach to care.
• Basic computer skills for documentation and communication.

Work Schedule

Part-time position with flexible shifts. Specific hours to be discussed during the interview process. Hours include alternating weekend shifts and holiday shifts.
