Job Title: Licensed Practical Nurse
Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse to provide one-on-one health services to students with medical needs, chronic conditions, and special requirements in a school setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide basic first aid and emergency care to students and staff.
- Work closely with students who have intellectual disabilities and special needs, delivering tailored healthcare support.
- Administer prescribed medications and treatments as directed by physicians.
- Implement the Individualized Healthcare Plan (IHP) for assigned students, ensuring their health and well-being throughout the school day.
- Maintain accurate health records and documentation, adhering to school policies and state regulations.
- Educate students and staff on hygiene practices, disease prevention, and healthy lifestyles.
- Collaborate with school staff, parents, and healthcare providers to develop comprehensive care plans for students with medical needs.
- Support the Registered Nurse (RN) in managing the school health office and addressing student health concerns.

Requirements
- Completion of an Approved Practical Nursing Program
- Successful Completion of the NCLEX-PN Examination
- Current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in Washington State
