The Quality Assurance Clinical Specialist works with the VP of Compliance to organize, collect and analyze quality and performance improvement data related to the Quality Assurance and Performance Improvement Program. The role of the specialist is essential to maintaining the integrity of Care Options for Kids delivery of quality care and patient safety.

QUALIFICATIONS :

- Current State RN License with BSN or higher strongly preferred.
- Minimum of one year of experience as an RN preferred.
- Minimum of one year in home care strongly preferred.
- Intermediate competency with computers and other technology that are utilized to conduct job functions.
- Must possess strong interpersonal skills.
- Must be able to solve problems and function effectively and often autonomously in a stressful work environment.
- Ability to read, write and communicate in English.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS :
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES :
o Reviewing all clinical assessments and 485's / POC's for accuracy.
o Implementing proactive audit program throughout organization including client file audits.
o Identify trends within offices and throughout organization to develop Plans of Correction and implement best practices.
o Ensure programs and audit tools reflect current regulations, standards and clinical protocols.
o Advise Executive Leadership team on appropriate risk mitigation strategies.
o Conducting client record audits and providing the findings on deficiencies.
o Ensure Patient Records are maintained in survey-ready status.
o Preparation audits beyond routine audit program.
o Be available during office hours for survey assistance for issues that arise.
Work Location : Fully remote. The individual must reside in Arizona.
