What are the responsibilities and job description for the General Maintenance II position at Care New England Health System and Careers?
Primary Functions-
Responsible for making minor mechanical repairs without site supervision.
Responsibilities-
Respond to emergencies such as fire alarms and elevator problems.
Repair minor plumbing problems and unblock drains,repair beds and other mechanical equipment, replace light bulbs and batteries as needed.
Assess maintenance problems and determine when additional assistance or direction from the manager is necessary. Attend to routine heating and air condition problems throughout the Hospital.
Perform preventative maintenance hospital facilities equipment.
Completes the installation of wall hung boards and assemble minor equipment within a timely manner
Performs all other duties as asigned.
Job Qualifications and Specifications
A High School diploma and a minimum of one year’s job-related experience or equivalent is required.
