Full Scope Surgical Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner: Kent Hospital

Surgical Oncology Colorectal Surgery and Hepatopancreatic Biliary (HPB)

Kent Hospital, an affiliate of Care New England, is seeking a full time Physician Assistant (PA) or Nurse Practitioner (NP) to join our robust surgical team in Warwick, Rhode Island. This provider will be an integral part of the department that is built on the premise of collaborative, team-oriented providers with intersecting skills and interests that include providing quality medical care. Opportunity Highlights

• Full-time Monday through Friday day time work schedule; colorectal surgery or surgical specialty experience preferred, but open to new grads
• Be part of a supportive, well-structured surgical APP with duties including:
  a) surgical first assist
  b) inpatient rounding
  c) consultation evaluation and procedures
• d) outpatient office visits
• Work alongside experienced, reputable, collegial group of physicians and advanced practice providers (APP)
• Regular mentorship and collaboration amongst providers
• EPIC implemented system wide
