Position Overview
Care Connection Rehabilitation Center is seeking a skilled and dedicated Assistant Director of Nursing / Infection Preventionist to join our leadership team. This role focuses on overseeing infection prevention programs while supporting the Director of Nursing in daily operations and staff management.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and oversee the infection control program, including antibiotic stewardship initiatives.
Assist the Director of Nursing with daily operations and workflow management.
Supervise nursing staff and conduct regular rounds to ensure high-quality resident care.
Ensure compliance with state regulations, facility policies, and HIPAA requirements.
Participate in Quality Assurance (QA) programs and coordinate care across departments.
Requirements
Active New Jersey RN license.
Infection Control Certification and hands-on experience in infection prevention.
Minimum 2 years of experience as an ADON or Nurse Supervisor.
CPR Certification required.
Experience with PCC preferred.
