What are the responsibilities and job description for the Development Manager position at CARE Chest of Sierra Nevada?
About CARE Chest
CARE Chest is a Nevada-based nonprofit dedicated to helping individuals and families access the medical resources they need to live healthy, independent lives. Through medical equipment loans, prescription assistance, diabetic supplies, supplemental medical nutrition, and community outreach programs, CARE Chest connects people with the medical resources they need to stay healthy, safe, and independent.
For more than 35-years, CARE Chest has worked alongside healthcare providers, community partners, volunteers, and donors to meet practical needs with practical solutions. From urban neighborhoods to Nevada's rural and frontier communities, the organization delivers services that help people manage chronic conditions, recover from illness or injury, and maintain their quality of life.
Today, CARE Chest is a growing organization with an annual operating budget of more than $3 million, serving more than 30,000 individuals and families each year across Northern and Southern Nevada.
While our impact continues to grow, our focus remains the same: ensuring that access to essential medical resources is not determined by a person's income or circumstances. At CARE Chest, we believe healthcare should be accessible, compassionate, and rooted in the communities we serve.
