What are the responsibilities and job description for the RN Wound Ostomy Continence Nurse position at Care Central VNA & Hospice?
Part Time or Full Time Wound Ostomy Continence Nurse Specialist to service Worcester and Surrounding areas.
Establish standards of practice and provide treatment of patients within the Agency with specific disorders of the GI, GU, and Integumentary Systems. Provides nursing care which contributes to the treatment and rehabilitation of patients with ostomies, stomas, acute and chronic wounds, and urinary and fecal incontinence. Plans for multidisciplinary approach for patients and families.
1. Education: Graduated from a State approved school of nursing.
2. Licensure: Current license to practice nursing in the state of Massachusetts.
3. Wound Ostomy certified
