Program Analyst

What You’ll Do…
As a Program Analyst, you will play a critical role in ensuring smooth operations across the branch. You’ll manage administrative workflows, support staffing and procurement actions, coordinate travel and logistics, track time and attendance, and help maintain accountability for government property. Your work keeps the branch functioning efficiently and supports missioncritical public health programs.
Key Responsibilities & Expected Outcomes
- Provide comprehensive administrative and programmatic support to leadership and staff.
- Manage and maintain administrative, programmatic, and technical procedures critical to daily branch operations.
- Coordinate staffing actions, procurement processes, and associated documentation.
- Process time and attendance for staff.
- Initiate supply and service orders as needed.
- Serve as the alternate Branch Property Custodian.
- Manage inventory, order and receive equipment, and maintain accountability through the Property Inventory System (PMIS).
- Coordinate property transfers, returns, deliveries, and storage.
- Assist in preparing reports, presentations, and papers for leadership and staff.
- Perform database analysis related to staffing, budgets, procurement, property, travel, and other operational activities.
- Coordinate communication with the Division to ensure timely routing and approval of required actions.
- Provide administrative and logistical support for office and laboratory moves.
- Support special projects requiring coordination across multiple teams.
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities for Success

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, and Publisher.
- Ability to analyze data, prepare reports, and track operational metrics.
Minimum Qualifications
- Education:Associate degree required; bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Experience:At least five (5) years of relevant professional experience in administrative, operational, or program management support.
- Clearance:Ability to obtain/maintain a Public Trust clearance
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience:Experience supporting CDC, NCIRD, or other public health program operations.
• Experience with government property systems such as PMIS.
• Strong background in coordinating travel, procurement, or federal administrative processes. - Clearance:CDC Public Trust clearance

- Environment:Work will be performed in a climate controlled office or laboratory setting.
