Position Summary
The primary function of the Financial Services Account Manager is to ensure the department meets the needs of Roadmap & Accounting services clients. As a key point of communication, a successful Account Manager will proactively find solutions & maintain positive relationships.
This role supports the Financial Services department sales processes, functions & logistics. The Account Manager should have exceptional communication & problem solving skills. To be successful in this role the Account Manager must be resourceful, analytical, adaptable & organized with the ability to build rapport with clients.

SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE
- Clients feel as though CV has an understanding of their business and unique needs, and trust us to deliver value through the services
- Serving as the cornerstone of the Financial Roadmap and 10X Accounting Services, providing essential client knowledge and account management upon which the entire framework depends
- Operate as lead point of contact for any and all matters specific to your accounts, specifically focused on establishing relationships and escalating internal & external stakeholder needs
- Closes contracts sourced through outbound and inbound sales activity
- Manage departmental sales processes, diagnostics & contracts
- Maintaining our department databases with the up to date information
- Building & maintaining strong, long-lasting customer relationships
- Matching the right product to the right customer while deepening client relationships with expanded product lines
- Performs touch-base calls with all clients each quarter and provides feedback to leadership for continuous improvement
- Ensure the timely and successful delivery of Business Services according to internal & external stakeholders needs & objectives
- Work with corporate accounting team to manage department AR fulfillment
- Develop reporting to measure department targets
- Build reports to communicate department metrics
- Assist with challenging client requests or issue escalations as needed
- Understand and communicate department ability to operate within equilibrium of service demand and resource supply
- Demonstrate strong proficiency using QuickBooks
- Ability to navigate unique negotiations
- Ability to understand and troubleshoot internal & external stakeholder needs
- Ability to work with project management software (e.g., Asana) and G-Suite (Slides and Docs)
- Strong aptitude for interpreting financial statements
- Ability to analyze financial data and provide insightful feedback for clients
- Understand the need for operational KPIs and how to model financials utilizing business specific drivers.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business or related field, or equivalent work experience
- At least 3 years’ work experience in Finance and Accounting
