What are the responsibilities and job description for the Medical Phone Operator position at Cardiovascular Physicians of Delaware?
We are looking for motivated medical phone operators for our busy Cardiology Practice!
This position requires excellent customer service skills, attention to detail, upbeat and friendly voice and personality. This person is the first impression and can make or break our practice the minute they greet a patient over the phone. Great benefits! No weekend work required.
Responsibilities:
Answer incoming phone calls
Take accurate patient messages
Triage messages to appropriate assistant
Schedule/Reschedule/Cancel appointments
Transfer calls to appropriate departments, people or voicemails
Mail paperwork and directions for office visits
Register patients
Confirm and/or change Insurance information
Confirm and/or change Demographic information
Pages physicians
Follow HIPAA regulations at all times
Sort electronic faxes
Bi-lingual is a plus! This position is for our office in Lewes, DE.
