Job Title: Medical Assistant
Position description: Well established, one-physician private practice is seeking a Medical Assistant to join our growing team. You’ll have the opportunity to work front and back office and fully engage with patients at our small, personalized, integrative medicine practice. If you’re eager to learn, are comfortable with efficiently handling multiple tasks and have previous experience with electronic medical records (EMRs) and medical scribing, we encourage you to apply. This is currently a part-time position, leading to full-time.
Responsibilities include:
- Serve as medical scribe, responsible for gathering information at patient visits and accurately documenting in EMR.
- Assist with front office tasks, including answering phones, responding promptly to patient messages, scheduling appointments, prescription refills, coordinating referrals to specialists.
- Assist doctor with patient care-related activities, including greeting and escorting patients to exam room, collecting vitals, performing immunizations and lab draws, and other tasks as needed.
Qualifications:
- Experience in medical scribing preferred but not required
- Excellent computer skills and working knowledge of EMR programs
- Outstanding verbal, written, and interpersonal skills

Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour
