Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and manage patients during stress testing procedures
- Interpret 12-lead ECGs and apply ACLS algorithms and protocols
- Start and manage IV access and therapy
- Support cardiologists and technologists during diagnostic procedures
- Contribute to the safe and effective execution of exercise and pharmacological stress tests
- Document patient care accurately within the electronic medical record (EMR)
Education & Experience:
- Registered Nurse licensure in Iowa and/or Illinois required
- Experience in cardiology and emergent care preferred
- Proficiency in ECG interpretation, IV therapy, and ACLS protocols preferred
- EMT-Paramedic certification considered a plus
- Strong clinical judgment and emergency response skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork capabilities
- Detail-oriented with the ability to work in a fast-paced diagnostic setting
- Comfortable using electronic medical records and clinical software
