Key Responsibilities:
Diagnostic Imaging & Patient Care:
Perform high-quality echocardiograms in accordance with established protocols
Obtain accurate and detailed cardiac images to assist physicians in diagnosis and treatment
Prepare and position patients for procedures, ensuring comfort and safety
Monitor patient condition during procedures and respond appropriately
Collaboration & Documentation:
Work closely with cardiologists and clinical staff to support patient care and diagnostic accuracy
Maintain accurate and timely documentation within the electronic medical record (EMR)
Ensure proper maintenance and care of ultrasound equipment
Qualifications & Requirements:
Education & Certification:
Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) or Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) (required)
Board registered in cardiac sonography (required)
OR Graduate of an accredited cardiac sonography program (preferred)
Skills & Abilities:
Strong technical skills in cardiac imaging and echocardiography
Attention to detail and accuracy in image acquisition and reporting
Excellent communication and patient care skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
